Rose Lock Property LTD approached me and my UI/UX partner, Kian Rogers, with a clear mission: to establish a professional and trustworthy presence for a new supported housing provider.
While Kian led the visual identity and design, I handled the full development process — from scoping and functionality planning through to deployment, hosting, and long-term maintenance.
Built as a fully bespoke WordPress theme, the site was designed with scalability and clarity in mind. I translated the design into clean, modular code, ensuring fast performance, intuitive structure, and flexibility for future updates. Features like a custom blog, subtle animations, and responsive layouts were all built from the ground up, with no reliance on page builders or bloated plugins.
I also managed the hosting setup, domain configuration, and ongoing technical support — keeping the site secure, fast, and easy to manage post-launch. This project was a full-cycle development build: planned, developed, launched, and maintained independently.
More Than Just the Basics
This wasn’t just a flat site build — I added extra functionality and attention to detail to make sure it actually performs and holds up.
I used GSAP to add smooth scroll-based animations for a more dynamic frontend experience, and built a custom HTML email signature that works reliably across different platforms. On the backend, I set up custom metafields in the CMS so the client can easily update content without needing a developer. Everything was built fully custom, with flexibility, performance, and long-term use in mind.
